At 3:30am this morning I woke up to get something to drink and looked out the window to see we had water all the way up to our sidewalk. I woke Dave up and we watched the water rise thru out the morning. A little after noon Daves Dad came to help us so us and all our animals could leave. We had to drive on our neighbors front lawn to get out. We went to Dave's parents house and Matthew starting crawling and pulling himself up when we got there! That was an exciting part to our day! Then Dave & I came back a little later to meet Terry and John to help us get our furniture off the floor. While we were there the city turned off a bunch of houses gas and recomended us to evacuate. We checked on our house here and there while we stayed at Daves parents house for 3 days until we could drive back to our house. We had a lot of fun staying over there and Dave's parents wer awesome! It was pretty scary everytime we would come back to check our house not knowing if we would be completly flooded out or not. Monday the water finally crested, but was not going down very fast at all until tuesday. Tuesday night we got home and only got water in our crawl space. We are so lucky we sit up higher. Our next store neighbor's house was surrounded with water and a lot of houses in our area got completly flooded out. Thru out the next 2 weeks there was garbage, dumpsters, street cleaners, trucks, dead fish by the park, and etc... Here is some pictures of the flooding in our area. This was one crazy day we won't forget.

This is John standing on our curb. Him and Terry helped us lift all our furniture on crates and jack stands! This water ended up getting waste deep by the end of the night.

This guy is crazy! Hope his car still runs!

4:20PM-This was not even the highest point yet.

Our driveway. The water got higher than this by the end of the night.

Below are some pictures of our neighborhood. At this point we could not drive to our house. We had to walk thru water about 7 houses down where the culda-sac is.

This was the end of our street by the culda-sac and the only way out.
