Nathan's Baptism 6/04/06!
He was 8 weeks old when we had him baptized! Nathan was excellent all day! It was an absolutely beautiful day! The temperature was wonderful too which was excellent because our house would have never fit 50 people! Although Uncle Sonny let us borrow some great tents were lucky we had a beautiful day! This was the first big party we have had and I didn't realize how hard it would be, but I made it through with a lot of help with family helping by making food and family and friends just lending a helping hand! I think it went very well! We had fun!

Gram Pat, Papa Ray, and Nathan!
Uncle Keith, Auntie Mary, Kyle, Amanda, and Nathan! Mary always has her eyes closed in pictures so I didn't have one where her eyes were open!
Grampie, Grandma Stout, Gramie, and Nathan! Nathan has a total of 4 Great Grandparents and here are 3 of them! The fourth is my Dads Dad! Isn't that awesome!
Nathan and our friends Melissa, Tim, and Elizabeth! Their new little guy is off to the side sleeping! His name is Lucas and he was born 1 month before Nathan! It was a lot of fun being pregnant with such a great friend! We felt pretty much the same at the same times and since this was her second she had forewarned me of things! Which was excellent!Tuesday, August 01, 2006
My first Mothers Day, 5/14/06!
This was a beautifully wonderful fun day for me! In the afternoon we went bowling with Dad and Mom Stout, Ron, Kim, Kristin, and Megan! It was a blast and I had soooo much fun! Then after that we went to my Dad and Moms house and spent some time with them and I helped my mom plant flowers which was really nice! Its really kinda Nathan's day too because I would not be a mother without him! I love being a Mommy! He puts a smile on my face just looking at him no matter what he is doing!

This was Nathan's very first bath given by Gram Pat on 4/25/06! We had to wait for his cord to fall off before he could get a full bath. Dave and I did not want to be the first to give him a bath because we really didn't know what to do! I know that sounds kinda stupid!Nathan didn't like his first bath to much anyway so it's probably a good thing Gram gave it to him!

Nathan 2 weeks old, 4/20/06!
This week was a lot better! we were starting to get used to things and a system was beginning! He was eating about 5 ounces and waking up every 3 to 5 hours to eat, but still sleeping a lot! Physically I still could not do a lot of things because of the c-section, but mentally I was much much better!

Nathan in his little chick outfit Aunt Joyce bought for him! This was his Easter outfit too! I love it on him!On 4/18/06 Mary and the kids came over to give Nathan and I some company! I still was emotional and needed people around so they came over in the morning and spent the day with us which was wonderful! We walked around the neighborhood and went to the park! Also Mary brought Dave and I dinner which was this awesome meat dish Mary makes! We thought that was wonderful!
Nathan's 1st Easter on 4/16/06!
Easter was Nathan's 1st Easter and holiday! Easter is always spent at Gram and Papa Listermann's house! Thanksgiving is always spent with the Stout's! This was a very exciting day for all of us! This was the first day spent with family since we were out of the hospital!

Nathan 1 week old, 4/13/06!
Wow what a crazy, busy, life changing week! Dave did well, but it was a very rough week for me. Emotionally was tough and physically hurt. I worried about everything and was depressed. My Mom was over almost every day for 2 weeks which was wonderful and I sure needed it and appreciate it! She made us dinner a lot! I didn't realize how much I missed her cooking! Daves parents came over and brought dinner and spent time with us too! Daves mom is really great cook too! We got help that was much needed especially that first week which was very hard! I didn't realize how hard it is to have a baby. Baby life is completely unexpected! Parenthood is something you have to be willing to work at and ready to do! It is biggest reward in life we have the chance to experience! We love him so much words can't even explain! Now we know how much our parents love us and appreciate them much much more for their love for us and for everything they did for us! we will do the best we can do at being parents as we know are parents did the best they could for us! We love being Mommy and Daddy! Its a blessing! Nathan is so darn cute and happy!

Nathan giving a smile!
